AI Mathematics Tutor provides an AI-powered tutoring platform that allows users to upload PDF STEM documents (e.g. textbooks, research papers, lecture notes) and interact with them using conversational AI. The Service is designed for educational and study purposes.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account details.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. User Content and Copyright

You retain all ownership rights to the content (such as PDF textbooks) you upload to AI Mathematics Tutor ("User Content"). However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

By uploading content, you warrant that:

  • You own the copyright to the content, OR
  • You have explicit permission from the copyright owner to upload and use the content with our Service, OR
  • The content is in the public domain.

We strictly prohibit copyright infringement. We do not verify the copyright status of user uploads. If you upload content you do not have the right to use, you assume full legal responsibility. We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing without prior notice.

5. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

The Service utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate responses. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Accuracy: AI can make mistakes ("hallucinations"). Responses may be inaccurate, misleading, or incorrect. You should always verify mathematical proofs, calculations, and definitions against the original source text.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this site or by sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
